University Pain Care Center

We offer a variety of services that target diseases affecting the neuromuscular system. At our comprehensive pain center we evaluate and treat both acute and chronic pain. Our doctors have a special interest in low back pain, spinal injuries and neuropathic injuries. We offer onsite physical therapy and exercise specialists through the Wellness Center. We work very closely with the Orthopedic and Osteoscience physicians to provide a comprehensive approach to pain management.

We offer rehabilitation services to patients who have suffered from a stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, cerebral palsy and MS. Our services also include the latest treatments for spasticity such as botox and nerve blocks and the evaluation and provision of amputees with prosthetics and orthotics.

Our subacute and acute rehabilitation services are available at Mediplex Rehabilitation Hospital, and subacute rehabilitation services at Silver Care, Health Care Center and St. Mary’s Center. We offer both rehabilitation and pain management consultation at Kennedy and Virtua Health Care Centers.

We are currently involved with several research projects specifically in the field of pain management and rehabilitation in the patient suffering with renal disease. We pride ourselves with friendly and caring services to our patients.
